Comments about The North Face Meteor Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
Took these pants on a snowshoe hike to Camp Muir on Mt Rainier. I absolutely loved them. They provided enough warmth and moisture repellency I didn't need my gaiters. The ankle reinforcement protects against abrasions from boots or snowshoes and the reinforced seat came in handy for a butt-slide down a steep slope! The only MINOR drawback is a backpack will work the waistband down in the back, but a pair of suspenders may prevent this. Incredible Investment!

Comments about The North Face Meteor Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
I bought these pants to do a Hood climb that we had to postpone due to weather. I've worn them out walking/hiking with the dog and they're great. Very comfy and breathable; I'm sure they'll do fine on the mountain

Comments about The North Face Meteor Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
These are some pretty solid pants.
I have used them primarily for mountaineering in the winter/spring, with some snow shoeing thrown in there. They are very comfortable. They seem a bit on the snug side (I am usually a 32 but went with a 34 and it fits well and I can put a base layer under them). They also seem a bit short, but since I usually have gaiters on, that doesn't bug me.
The way the waist is cut high on the back is great. It gives plenty of coverage while scrambling and grabbing stuff out of your pack. The belt system is also nice, very streamlined and functional. Same goes for the pockets. The thigh pockets are easy to get into even when wearing a harness and only use one hand to operate.
These are great for just about all mountaineering unless its full blown summer. They do get a bit warm then. They do seem to breathe pretty well and the DWR on them is good. The wind isn't too much of an issue either.
All in all, a solid and simple pair of pants.
