The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Contour +2 Wearable Camcorder:
This is my second Contour camera (the first fell out of my pocket while climbing). In between my two Contours I used a GoPro. I liked the GoPro's video quality and availability of mounts and accessories, but the Contour's ease of use, form factor, and built-in GPS functionality give it the edge.
There are some nice features on this model of the Contour that my previous model lacked: locking switch to prevent the camera from accidentally recording and built-in wifi connectivity.
The battery life is good, however, if you're in a cold environment the battery life seems to shorten substantially. I carry two extra batteries if I'm going to be out for more than a couple of hours. Recording video is as simple is moving the large sliding switch forward. A laser shows you immediately where the camera is pointed.
The video quality is excellent. If there isn't much natural light, the video quality degrades, as with every other video camera I've used.
One tip: before adhering mounts to helmets or other gear, check to make sure that the camera isn't capturing your helmet in the video. The lens is very wide angle, and if the mounts aren't placed just right, you'll end up with your helmet in the corner of all of your video footage.

Comments about Contour +2 Wearable Camcorder:
I bought this camera so I could document "incidents" with traffic on my bicycle commutes. I bought a 32GB card to go with it.
When it works, it's great. But it only works about one time out of five. When it doesn't work (or decides to stop working during a recording) it just does so without much warning. You really need to be paying attention to it during a recording to notice that things have gone sour. There's not much UI (as you'd expect) but you can't even diagnose the problem once you get back to a PC. You just plug it in to download your videos and you get a bunch of unreadable .mov files.
I tried with this camera for quite a while, but never could find out the problem(s). If the camera worked 90% of the time maybe I would've kept it. But 20% of the time is worthless to me, and I finally decided it wasn't worth the effort. Thankfully, I was able to return it. I will be looking for something else.
The camera is also pretty big, especially with the waterproof case.
Don't waste your time with this camera.

Comments about Contour +2 Wearable Camcorder:
Use the camera in cockpit to take photos during low level flights.
Geotagging of location makes sorting the photos simple in picassa and google earth.
Bluetooth for preview and configuration is OK but you still have to connect to a PC to download and send photos to others. Really needs to be able to download the captured photos to your iphone/ipad while travelling.
Needs sync tool on iphone to upload photos to facebook/google+ without PC.
Great quality photos especially for 5MP sensor.
Great wide angle picks up most of cockpit.
Will be buying a second one for different angles during flight.
Highly recommend.
