Comments about SmartWool PhD Long Run Shorts - Men's:

I am a marathon runner and I clear around 70 miles per week. In addition, I also exercise about 4 times a week at the gym.

At first, I was a bit skeptical about these shorts because of the price (I typically do not like to pay more than $50.00 for running shorts). However, these shorts were absolutely worth it. I strongly recommend that you give these a try.

The main pro to these shorts is that they have zero chafing and will conform perfectly to your body. I'm serious, I can run 20 plus miles in these and I do not feel anything (I might as well be naked).

Second, I like these because they are a little bit longer and more shapely than traditional running shorts. In other words, you are not going to stick out at the gym as the guy with the all too revealing "short-shorts."

There is one drawback, if you are the type that likes a lot of pockets or pocket space, then you will probably be disappointed. In these shorts, there is only one pocket, and it is big enough to hold only one gel pack or a small set of keys.
