Cannondale Synapse Alloy 5 Women's Bike - 2013is rated4.5out of5by4.
Rated4out of5byRECfromgood balance; price vs. performanceI bought this bike to replace old steel technology, the weight difference alone made it worth the trouble. I was warned about an aluminum bike's "stiff" ride but this ride is very good.

Rated5out of5byadventurer 2fromLove it!!I have had this bike for 3 weeks and love everything about it! I have been riding a road bike for many years but this is my first women specific bike. WOW!! The fit is exceptional! I have long legs and a short torso and my 54" frame is perfect. The salesman was spot on in fitting this bike to me. The saddle was very comfortable right from the test ride. I love this bike!!

Rated5out of5byJen the bikerfromLove this bikeI love this bike! I have been riding for a few years now and have been on a Trek. As soon as I made my first pedal stroke during my test ride yesterday, I knew this was the bike for me. The folks as REI were amazing helping me get the bike set up and it was one of the best bike fitting services I have even had. Took "Dale" (yes, I named my bike, short for Cannondale :) ) for a ride this afternoon and it rides like a dream. So fast and so responsive. The bike fits like a glove and I cannot wait to go for another ride tomorrow! Good job, Cannondale.

Rated4out of5bymggfromGreat bike at a great price! This is a beautiful, lightweight bike, with awesome components. The shifters and derailleurs are smooth as butter. Very well built.
The only problem I think were the brakes, which were not very easy to operate, especially while riding downhill - it might be because I'm new to curved handlebars though :P
