Alpen Shasta Ridge 8 x 30 Binocularsis rated4.0out of5by1.
Rated4out of5byfromThese work for meI bought these binoculars to use while birding. They have been worth every penny. They are small enough to wear on my neck all day long and are large enough to allow a good field of view. Though friends have purchased other binoculars that are quite a bit more expensive, these have served me equally well. (Okay, so the binoculars that cost $100-$200 more are a bit better, yet I am quite happy with these, especially for the price.) I am able to identify birds that are 1/4-1/2 mile away. They are comfortable to hold and are steady. For my status as a beginning birder, I am more then happy with these binoculars. I would absolutely encourage others to purchase these binoculars.
