I bought this as a gift for my husband. He's 6'3" and weighs about 185# and I bought a large. He has kinda a tall, muscular build- and he says the fit is great. The sleeves fit well, even while reaching. He often can have a problem here, so for some the sleeves might be a little too long or just right.
He uses this jacket almost everyday, from small things like walking the dog or bigger things like layering for a backpacking trip. The jacket hasn't been really put to the test in major elements, but it isn't really designed for that. So far, it holds up to moderate winds, light rain and cool temps (35* with a t-shirt under, and a beanie) for short periods of time. I love just about everything from Marmot. Great brand, great people. Great gear. Hubby was wearing hoodies and other cheaper long sleeved shirts. And since he got this jacket, he's barely taken it off, and he certainly has not put back on the hoodies.
