    I love Salomon's trail shorts and have a pair of these along with a pair I purchased many years ago. They both offer light weight, durability, etc. But what's missing on the new version is POCKETS! Trail runners need pockets, for gels, cell phones, keys, empty gel packets, gel packets others left on the trail, occasionally our hands...a plethora of stuff. And don't call those inside key pockets or slash pockets POCKETS! We need deep side pockets. Manufacturers, listen up--we need pockets, before, during and after the run. I would give these 5 stars if they had pockets.
