I am very impressed with these shorts. Typically I don't buy REI brand shorts because they are bulky and not as attractive as Royal Robbins or ExOfficio so I was pleasantly surprised when I tried on these shorts. They are more expensive than the usual REI short, but well worth the price. They are much cuter than the photo, don't wrinkle. I also bought the capris in similar style and will be purchasing more of each.
