    Because you need to know on a moonless night what is that 100 yards down the draw? A curious bear, Larry with his camo TP or Sasquatch gets lit up!
    Simple on/off side thumb switch and two D cell batteries give 12 hours 45 minutes of light. VERY bright tight spot adjusts wider if needed.
    REI should offer anodized colors. Basic black only.
