Comments about Peak Design Capture Camera Clip System:
This clip is amazing, I used it yesterday in the Moto GP in Phillip Island and I loved it!
I was carrying my Canon 5D M2 with a 70 - 200 f2.8 and this clip carried the camera with no worries at all! I added the clip to my backpack and voila, the clip carried the weigh not my neck and shoulders, great add to my equipment as it is very heavy to carry a 5D with a 70 - 200 f2.8, this clip works perfect for that purpose.
Highly recommend this product if you like hiking and travelling

Comments about Peak Design Capture Camera Clip System:
I first heard about Capture on Kickstarter a year ago and backed the project because it was exactly the thing I was looking for. Very simple concept but for some reason hasn't been done until now. For anyone that owns a larger camera body and has tried taking it anywhere you know what a pain carrying it can be. Because Capture clips on backpacks and belts it allows a camera to be rigidly attached to the body. No neck strap, no swinging camera. Simple and functional.
I rarely leave home without my camera and so too my Capture Clip. If you own a camera you absolutely will not be disappointed with this product. 5 stars!!

Comments about Peak Design Capture Camera Clip System:
I've had one of these for about a year (one of the original versions) and it has seen multiday trips into the backcountry, short hikes, exploring cities, and just day to day photography. The capture clip grabs onto my padded backpack (65L) strap and provides a very sturdy and convenient way to carry my Rebel DSLR with a 28-70 lens. No slippage and the camera is very well attached... it's has survived slips and bending over to get under trees without coming detached. The item is pretty hefty, but I trust it completely to hang onto my camera. Detachment is very quick. The ARCA mount makes it easy to use my tripod or the clip. The 3/8 screw mount on the bottom of the ARCA plate lets me keep the plate on the camera permanently and still be able to attach accessories. When hiking, I'll sometimes keep the camera strap attached to the camera on standard top mounts on the camera, and clip the camera to my backpack strap. I can then release the clip and shoot while still have the neck strap as added convenience.
