Comments about Goal Zero Sherpa 50 Power Pack:
The sherpa recharges cell phones, Gps systems, and just about any small item you can plug into it. Would like to see soft plugs to protect connections in rough enviroments, I have contacted goal zero about that

Comments about Goal Zero Sherpa 50 Power Pack:
The first Sherpa 50 I bought failed after the second use. I am impressed by the customer service at Goal Zero. Without any questions, they sent me a replacement.
The second unit worked on the first use. Then, I recharged it using the Goal Zero solar panel. Once the unit showed a full charge, I attached a cell phone to it. The charge window immediately showed zero charge and would not power the phone.
I have a third unit on the way. Hopefully it works better. Otherwise, this is a very expensive, disposable, one use battery.

Comments about Goal Zero Sherpa 50 Power Pack:
I had the first gen Sherpa 50 and had to take it back because it did not power anything larger than a phone.
The new Sherpa 50 Elite powers everything that it says in the advertisement. From phones, netbooks, surface/ipod to laptops, it works great. Plus its smaller and lighter than the first gen.
This is what I expected with the first gen Sherpa, but better late than never.
Service and delivery comments:
