The rugged Highgear Alti-XT multifunction watch helps take your performance to new heights, providing accurate, real-time altitude readings and much, much more.

  • Alti-XT features an altimeter, barometer, digital compass, thermometer, chronograph, countdown timer and time functions
  • Altimeter features a range of -1,640 ft. (500m) to 29,527 ft. (9,000m) with 3 ft. resolution, total ascent and descent, and 30 altitude log entries
  • Barometer forecasts changing trends in the weather; 1-mbar resolution with a range of 900 to 1,100-mbar
  • Digital compass accurately reports direction with a 360° range, rotating bezel with 16 cardinal points, adjustable declination and directional heading lock
  • Thermometer displays temperature with 1° resolution in Fahrenheit or Celsius with a range of 14°F to 140°F)
  • Chronographic measures splits and features a range of 100 hrs. and 1/100-second resolution; countdown timer has a range of 100 hrs.
  • Watch features time/day/date in a 12- or 24-hour format, world time with Daylight Savings option, sunrise/sunset times and 3 alarms

Comments about Highgear Alti-XT Multifunction Watch:

For about half the price of a Suunto you get about half a Suunto. Graphics, comfort and accuracy are all noticeably below that of the Core. Also, the compass on mine was bogus right out of the box; tried calibrating it several times, no luck. Exchanged for a Suunto Core, no regrets.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
