Compact, bright and self-contained, the Light & Motion Taz 800 front bike light offers lightweight bar-top illumination for all your riding needs, from endurance MTB racing to commuting.

  • Cruise mode sequentially cycles through high (800 lumens), medium (400 lumens), low (200 lumens), pulse and flash (both 200 lumens) light settings
  • Race mode conserves battery power by skipping medium and flash modes, offering just the medium setting for climbing and the high setting is just a click away for descents
  • Integrated lithium ion battery offers a 2 hr. run time on its highest output setting; drop to lower power settings to extend run time
  • Rechargeable via micro USB; depending on your USB charging rate, the Taz 800 will fully charge in 3, 7, or 13 hrs. (2A, 1A, 0.5A respectively)
  • The Light & Motion Taz 800 bike light is designed to be mounted on your handlebar (fits most handlebars)

    Comments about Light & Motion Taz 800 Front Bike Light:

    Have had various cateyes, planetbikes, etc in the past. This one is far brighter of course. Like the beam pattern and selection of modes (low/medium/high/pulse). The buttons are a little hard to press with gloves/mitts but logical operation, i.e. hold to turn/on off. There is also a mode to prevent accidental on/off while in backpack which is necessary for pushbuttons. I was a little skeptical of the mount at first as I am used to clicking types but this one is simple and works well functioning like a pant belt. The ability to rotate may really come in handy on the mountain bike trail. I have been using the pulsing mode on my commmute and cars notice me now. Can't wait to take it on a trail. Bought this with the cateye rear USB charging light so that I could charge both.
