Scott CR1 Team Compact Bike - 2013is rated4.0out of5by1.
Rated4out of5bypajarito guyfromA nice bikeI commute on a steel bike and use the CR1 for weekend rides. My weekend rides are 20-50 miles with total elevation gains of 2,000 to 3,000 feet.
The CR1 is the nicest bike I've ever owned and the most expensive by a factor of more than two. I am pleased with it, but consider it an unnecessary indulgence.
Since REI doesn't sell high end road bikes where I live, I bought it while visiting Oregon. Taking it home on the plane was a challenge.
