All bicycles sold at REI include a free warranty tune-up. New bikes go through a normal break-in period, after which readjustment is important for longevity and performance. Bring your new bike in to your local REI for its free tune-up within 20 hours of use or 6 months from purchase, whichever comes first. Contact your nearest REI bike shop to schedule this important service.

Comments about Scott CR1 Pro Compact Bike - 2013:

I bought this bike after saving for several years. It was expensive for my budget but I'm happy with the purchase. I use it for longer distance training rides and I love it! Very lightweight, it makes climbing and accelerating super-responsive. The Ultegra groupset is great. Right now, I can't think of anything I don't like about it.

Service and delivery comments:

Pre-delivery service at the REI in Brentwood was super! The bike was well tuned and ready to go. I added pedals (I chose the Speedplay 'Light Action' product) and it took awhile to adapt to the method but I'm getting there. All service and delivery comments are definitely positive!
