My last mountain bike was a duely but now over ten years old with cantilever brakes and other older components. Many changes to get used to. I was surprised at how easy I adapted to disc brakes, 29" wheels, 2X10 gearing, carbon frame, and wider handlebars. After 12 rides my old bike is already forgotten.
