I bought this to use in a dryland coastal environment with fog/drizzle/wind. Pros: lightweight, stylish, easy to roll-up and put in a pack. Cons: I wouldn't use this regularly in heavy rain - it's "water resistant" not "waterproof." It dries out well and makes for a good beginning of the day end of the night wear in temperate climates. All in all, it's a solid windbreaker. The pockets are large and comfy for your hands, but would benefit from a chest pocket. The hood tightener on top is kind of useless, it should be on the side. It's a outer layer shell for light use.
