    The fun and versatile Salomon BBR 10.0 skis use a new ski shape to explore the part of the mountain that lies off the beaten track.

    • Salomon BBR 10.0 skis work well if you're sticking to the groomed runs, but they are ideal if you find yourself switching between groomed runs and off-piste terrain
    • Instead of the traditional parabolic or X-shaped profile found in most modern skis, the BBR uses a V-shaped profile to achieve a great balance between flotation and carving
    • Tips are wider than the tails by at least 35mm, creating a progressive sidecut that initiates and exits turns with ease
    • Tips are also shaped to reduce weight and to minimize chatter when carving at high speeds
    • Wide, surfboard-inspired tips feature a very low profile rise that floats in powder and smooths out the ride in rough terrain
    • The narrowest part of waist is behind heels, allowing a versatile weight distribution on skis
    • Pintail releases out of turns easily and enhances control
    • Full-wood core delivers direct transmission of power with precision and efficiency, and a metal backbone increases strength, rigidity and response
    • Double titanium laminate adds torsional rigidity and instant edge-to-edge responsiveness
    • Elastomer inserts placed over the front of the skis absorb vibrations, resulting in a smooth ride that softens ski-to-snow contact
    • 97mm waist offers stability at speed and flotation on soft snow
    • Slightly raised tails let you ride backward and stick the occasional switch landing
    • Sandwich sidewall construction offers extremely smooth ski-to-snow contact and high adaptation to any terrain
    • Strong polyethylene fiber threaded between the edges of the skis increases edge strength to withstand big impacts
    • Requires bindings with wide brakes
