    • Built for days that take you all over the mountain, the Salomon Shogun 100 skis excel on variable terrain, and they'll hold their own on powder days
    • Full-wood core delivers direct transmission of power with precision and efficiency; designed for demanding skiers who require high performance
    • Bamboo fibers in the topsheet add natural flex and pop; crushed basalt is added to a fiberglass-like fiber that is placed above the wood core to absorb shock
    • Perfect for pulling off freeski maneuvers, a single-layer cap design provides precise edge grip and efficient energy transfer from skier to snow
    • Elastomer inserts placed over the edges absorb vibrations, resulting in a smooth ride that softens ski-to-snow contact
    • All-terrain rockered tips excel in soft snow and deliver fluid performance on hardpack; when put on edge, 95% of edge length contacts snow to offer precision on groomed runs
    • Slightly raised tails let you ride backward and stick the occasional switch landing
    • Strong polyethylene fiber threaded between the edges of the skis increases edge strength to withstand big impacts
    • In addition to the polyethylene fiber, extra fiber reinforcements laid directly on the edges add torsional rigidity and improves edge durability
    • Wide metal edges withstand big impacts and improve shock resistance
    • Salomon Shogun 100 skis require wide brakes
    • Base or topsheet color may vary from online photo

Rated 4 out of 5 by from An "everything" ski. I bought these skis a month ago because I wanted a wider ski and 101 at the waist seemed reasonable. I could not be happier with that decision. They can handle literally everything a resort can throw at them; from powder to ice. The downside to their durability and versatility is weight. It's not uncomfortable but it would put a damper on climbing if you took them into the back country. I stand 5'9" tall and I bought the 182's, even at that length they are easy to control at any speed. I also thoroughly enjoy having a little bit of rocker at the tail for more maneuverability. All in all they're an excellent all mountain ski and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.
