As soon as I opened the packaging, I had a sinking feeling. The coat is very light. I won't deny it; however, the fit is the craziest fit I've ever seen. I intentionally ordered a coat that was a size too large for me. I wanted this for outdoor winter activity wear and anticipated having one or two layers on at least. It doesn't have a removeable liner, so I figured I'd have to do layer adjustment to suit my activities. However, this arrived on a day that was around 90 degrees, so I have nothing more than a t-shirt on when I tried it on. Whoa! Was the fit ever tight. Truthfully, it didn't even zip up all the way (or I should say, I didn't try to force it, because I knew I'd be returning it and didn't want to damage it). Prior to trying it on, I held it up and could tell that the cut was very...straight. I don't know if that's the accurate way to describe it, but it looks like they put two layers of material together, cut out a body shape and sewed it together. So, unless you're flat, this doesn't really work. I wouldn't even know what size to get .I noticed that it goes up to some very large sizes like 6X. I'm guessing this is because their sizing is all off, so someone needing a 2X would probably need to order a 5X...or something very off like that. That being said, if you were on the heavy side and thought you'd found a nice plus-sized jacket, I think you're going to be VERY disappointed.

Also, I don't want to be "THAT" person, but I noticed as I was packing it up that it was made...elsewhere. The quality shows. I thought I could save, but I ended up returning this and picking up a Columbia jacket...exactly what I should have gotten in the first place.
