Rated5out of5byLXVIfromMore of a Snowboarding ShellI was looking for a snowboarding shell and a layer piece. This meets those needs perfectly. This is more of a snowsport jacket than it is a rain jacket but will work as a rain jacket. It is just a little more heavy duty, doesn't really pack small, basically it will be used when I know it will be raining or during a hike/snowshoe when I tend to add and shed layers. For snowboarding in the spring/fall this will work very nice. There are only two front pockets. I do wish there was atleast one on the inside, a stash pocket would be nice as well. This is made like a snowboard jacket (slightly long and baggy) the medium fits me perfect (5'10" 155# male) even in the sleeves which are usually a little short. This jacket is exactly what I was looking for and worth every penny.

Rated3out of5bynahskafromPocket NotNice jacket, proved waterproof to me when worn in a NorEaster without getting wet. But lack of upper (or inside) pockets--and oddly placed, reverse flap, zip side pockets really detract from this otherwise good rain jacket.

Rated4out of5byAndrew Needs BootsfromNot a rain jacketI bought this jacket because I got it for a steal online. I was hoping it would serve as a lightweight rain jacket, but it's more of a shell for snowboarding. Doesn't pack up very well and isn't too light. Very stylish, keeps the wind off and is probably water resistant (used it snowboarding and stayed dry all night). Great jacket, just won't do the trick if you're looking for a small light rain coat. Also bigger than expected (probably the snowboarding style). I'm 5'9", 165 and wear M everything, the sleeves and coat length were both long on this.
