Rated4out of5byskibum31fromNot to be confused with last year'sREI would be best-served not transferring comments from the 175cm bag to this one. True, the 175cm bag from last year was very short (172cm actual), but at 190cm, this one seems to be just right. When I bought the 175cm one I noted that it would be a great bag if it actually fit my skis. Very well-padded throughout-- can't get much more padded than this.

Rated4out of5byskibum31fromGood but short - 172cm actualIt measures 172cm max on the inside, which is pretty small. If your skis fit, you should love this bag. Extremely well-padded throughout and very durable. I haven't carried skis in it so don't know if the strap is comfortable, but it looks like it could be a little too short of a strap for slinging on your shoulder, might be more of a hand-held strap, which wouldn't bother me but might bother some.
I do not think it would hold two pairs of skis, but admittedly I didn't even load skis into it because mine are too long. Really wish it came in a longer size because this would be perfect for me!

Rated2out of5byOrangafromGood Quality but Lacking in ErgosI used this bag for the first time on a recent trip to Colorado.
I looked on with envy as my friends with wheeled board bags walked with ease while I struggled to find a comfortable way to carry the bag.
The bag is well sized for my skis, which are 164cm and the bag is built for 170 or 175cm, I forget. So there is some wiggle room, but not bad. However, as we all know, the bindings are located more rearward and not center of the skis, so it makes the ski bag tilt up when carrying. When carrying the bag with my hands, the straps are too long, and the back end of the bag drags on the floor (again, wheels??). When carrying the bag on my shoulder, the tilt is again an issue, and the bag can even go vertical on you.
I the straps were shorter to make carrying easier, as well as located a bit off-center, closer to where the bindings are.
