Comments about Gordini Lavawool Fleece II Gloves - Men's - 2012 Overstock:

Couldn't figure out how to update my earlier review, so writing another one here... after about 10 hikes using single pole, working glove shows clear signs of wear, got a hole on the index finger (stitching ripping) - other glove is OK. So, durability is an issue if the gloves are used to actually work with tools, would it be a hiking poles, or (presumably) any hand tool - something to keep in mind.

Comments about Gordini Lavawool Fleece II Gloves - Men's - 2012 Overstock:

Comfortable, inexpensive light gloves for California winter - I doubt that they would hold in really cold snowy weather, though. However, if your palms/fingers get cold easily, they should work great for local hiking in central/northern CA, with or without poles... haven't tried them for anything else, and can't comment on durability. Plus: though I can't stand feeling of some cheap polyesters, this fabric is alright, also seems to dry quickly.
