    I was looking for a pair of waterproof, warm boots that I can wear while walking the dog every morning. I walk mostly on the street and/or sidewalks and sometimes it is pretty icy. The grip on glare ice is not very good but otherwise, they are great boots. Very warm (too warm to wear in the house when I get home.) They appear to be waterproof - I've walked in some fairly deep slush but haven't really given them a hard/submersion test. They are sized pretty accurately. My feet are a very wide 10-1/2 length so I usually need to get shoes a size or two too large because of my width. I ordered these from online in two sizes (11 and 11-1/2) and the 11's worked well for me. I maybe even could have gotten 10-1/2 to work if I had tried them in that size.
