Given, I haven't tried a plethora of boots in my time, but coming from my beginner Burton Casas, these have made an enormous difference in my riding. Because I didn't want to spend the money, I stuck with the Casas for far too long and never realized how much their shoddy fit was affecting my skills. I tried on a few different boots in the store, but these K2's were the perfect flex (pretty soft), the boa system is incredibly easy and I never have to worry about the tightness of my boots (something I struggled with a lot in my lace-ups), and the liners are super warm! I think I got a size 8, so they feel a little big, but I don't have any issues with my feet slipping around or anything.

My only issue is that I have to tighten the dials every time I get off the lift because they seem to somehow loosen while I'm skating around (or something), but it's not like I'm not sitting down anyway to strap in, so it's definitely not a deal breaker.
