    Whether hiking for untouched stashes or just enjoying the groomers, the lightweight women's Giro Lure™ snow helmet combines protection, warmth and style.

    • In-mold technology bonds the helmet's tough outer microshell to the internal expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner, creating a light, cool and strong helmet
    • 12 vents move cool, fresh air through the helmet while radiating heat and stale air out
    • Fine-tune the airflow using 2 low-profile Thermostat™ control buttons located on the outside of the helmet; buttons open and close vents
    • Vent placed over the center vent of goggles reduces internal fogging and maintains an integrated fit
    • Very lightweight fit system adjusts tightness with an easy-to-use racheting dial; you can also adjust the fore-aft tilt of the helmet using 1 hand
    • Minimalist goggles-keeper cord doubles as a handy attachment system for your pack; delploy cord from inside of helmet and clip to pack using the built-in carabiner

            This is the first snowboarding helmet I have owned, and I am very happy with it overall. It provides really good coverage (my head feels good and secure!) without taking away any of my peripheral vision. The primary reason I chose this model over others was for the open/close vents on the helmet. I really appreciate this feature as it provides plenty of ventilation when I need it, and just a quick flip to close the vents when it's snowing. The chin strap is a little difficult to adjust because of the removable sliding pad on it, especially with gloves on. Giro recommends their goggles with the helmet, but I have found that other goggles are compatible as well.

              I was reluctant to start wearing a ski helmet but my husband and sons convinced me. I did take one good fall to the back of the head while wearing it and was really glad that I had it on. Compared to their helmets, mine is lightweight and has superior padding and insulation. The adjustable vents on the top and the speaker-ready ear protection are icing on the cake. The design is sleek and as attractive as I could ask for in a helmet.
