    • Proven features such as reduced weight, a shrunken footprint, oversize air bags and a stabilizing backstay spine bring top-of-line-tech down to the couch surfer's salary
    • Powerful backstay spines increase medial/lateral support, edge-to-edge response and durability
    • Strategically placed flex notches allow smooth and fluid lateral and medial flex, perfect for nose bones and tweaked out tail grabs
    • Streamlined Speed Zone™ shell lacing lets you fine-tune the upper and lower zones in seconds; this system offers powerful rebound, wrap and response with minimal effort
    • To make entry and exit easy, Burton added a pull loop on the tongue as well as a lace pull tab that releases both the upper and lower zones simultaneously
    • Imprint™ 2 liners feature soft faux-fur linings and rip-and-stick closures for a comfortable, close fit
    • Get a comfortable fit right out of the box: new, industry-exclusive toe box construction offers a quick break-in period and increases warmth and comfort
    • Medium flexing, slim, 3D-molded tongues wrap the forefeet in comfort, offer a seamless flex and reduce performance-robbing shell/liner stack-up
    • Snow-proof internal gussets on boot tongues completely seal lower boot zones to keep feet warm and dry
    • Shock-absorbing air bags cover approximately 75% of the midsoles for a pillowy ride and protection without the weight
    • Grippy rubber spikes supply that extra edge when traveling across slippery terrain
    • Shrinkage™ technology reduces boot's overall footprint by 1 full size, minimizing boot overhang, bulk and weight

Average weight specification is per pair, based on size 9.

    Burton Ruler Snowboard Boots - 2012/2013is rated4.0out of5by1.
Rated4out of5byfromSo far, So goodI bought these boots to replace my old DC Scout boots. Right away I noticed taht these were much stiffer than older boots. This is good since that is what I was going for. Secondly, the footbed on these boots is so soft it's like walking on air. This is possibly due to the large airbags on the sole that run most of the length of the boot. So afr I have put them to use on powder days, sunny groomer running days, and few trips through the park. They have held up well. The break in process is a little longer than I expected, but I believe that is because my DC boots broke in super fast. Overall these have been good bboots for me so far. The speed lacing system is easy to use, and quick to get in and out of. I would definitely reccommend these boots to someone if they fit them right.
