Rated5out of5byOwen DavisfromGreat eastern Oregon winter sockPart of my work in Eastern Oregon with Oregon Dept. of Fish and Wildlife is winter snorkeling. I have tried a variety of socks form 3 socks to extra heavy wool winter socks trying to keep my feet warm. I had not found anything until these fleece socks. For the first time in 3 years my feet wer not frozen with fleece socks and a mild thickness wool sock over the top. These socks are wonderful and kept my feet warm while snorkeling in 0 C. water and air temps down to -12 F. i recommend these socks to anyone who works outside in extreme cold. I am impressed with the warmth of these socks and wish I had gotten them a couple years ago.

Rated5out of5byIxqfromwarm and tI don't use Acorn socks for athletics, as my feet sweat when I run, even in the cold, but I love them for everything else. New Orleans homes and office are not built to keep out cold, but to be cool and airy. The wet cold of our few wintry days would be unpleasant without the soft caress of Acorn socks protecting my feet and ankles.
