        I bought this for myself because it's pretty and fits well. I take a men's large (in Tilly hats, for instance) and most women's hats don't fit. Many of the toques squeeze my head. This toque is really comfortable and looks great.

          Truly a great head piece, its a 100% wool, so it's a great insulator, temperature regulator, and moisture wicker. The times that I have used it since I bought it (I consider it my nice hat/beanie for long trips) it has kept my head and ears warm, the earflaps are great, overall very comfortable, no annoying seams or tags (the ones that it has are very well put together). I even realized that I could use the extra thread from the braids to repair clothing while on a trip if it really came down to it. It has that South American look to it, and the colors are vibrant, I got myself the squid ink colored one. I like the fact they didn't call it a "Peruvian Hat" like other companies do, because there are many countries down there that have these as part of their culture/folklore.
