Rated4out of5byjimsaxonfromReasonably comfortable, but dryVery comfortable shoe, but if worn longer than a couple of hours, it really retains odor. The Gortex is great for wet conditions but simply is not that breathable so feet get very warm, and somewhat sweaty. Recommend very thin socks because of this. However, if it's wet or even when raining, it's amazing how dry this shoe is.

Rated4out of5byChanging1Lifefrombit pricey 4 me but terrific investmentThis is my first true running shoe and what a difference. I have gone from using one generic cross-trainer to very specific shoes for each of the sports that I am participating in now and it has totally changed my athletic life. This shoe slipped on and fit perfectly. My wife said the look on my face when I tried them on told her how comfortable they were and insisted I make the investment. (It has been so hard with flat feet and custom orthotics for me to find shoes like this that feel sooo good) I use them on the road mainly but have also used them in the gym with equal comfort and support. I would not hesitate steering someone into considering this shoe. A big thanks to the REI associate who steered me into them. He listened to my needs and helped me find perhaps one of the best pairs of shoes I have ever bought.
