      My daughter is 6 and just got her own boat. I tried several PFDs but this was the only true paddling vest that didn't slide over her head.

      She is only 48#s so i was scarred it would be to big. I adjusted all the straps as far in as they would go and i fits perfect. It doesn't ride up in the water. There is PLENTY of room for her to grow.

      It doesnt bother her paddling at all. The vest is very comfortable for her if we are on the water all day.
