        I'm so happy to have my search for the perfect hiking/backpacking shoe come to an end. I've been on the hunt for good footware for a long time. I've bought high-end products, the newest products to hit stores, but nothing worked. I'm 5'2 and trail hike/backpack all sorts of terrain. I needed a shoe that was light weight, durable, reliable on various terrains, and maintained good traction. This shoe meets all of those requirements.

        I know a lot of people prefer a higher ankle support when it comes to backpacking trips, but there's something to be said about a low profile hiking shoe too. If you're not having luck with bulkier boots, give these a try. I used them on the in-store incline rock and on the trail today (muddy, rocky, dry, etc.) and they didn't give out on me. As with most shoes there is a break in period and these shoes will break in a lot more quickly than other boots. Love them.
