I wear these shoes when I do Kettlebell, but when I wear them to run in they are the bomb-diggety! They are very comfy and provide ample support and cushioning when running on hard surfaces. I feel like I can run longer and faster and may even jump higher! When hiking, they are so comfortable that my feet don't begin to tire on the trails. I just love them.

Great pair of shoes. Very comfortable. They are more water resistant than I thought they would be. Thy keep my feet nice and dry in wet and cold conditions. However, my feet do get pretty hot when running in them in warmer weather.

I use this shoe for everything from grocery shopping to trail hiking. The color was a turn off for me when I was looking to purchase a new shoe, but once my feet were in them, I didn't want to take them off. I have very hard to fit feet. (wide toe box, narrow heel, need arch support) These shoes gave me all that I needed.

This is my third pair of Salomon trail shoes. I like the way the shoe fits for my foot shape. I have a narrow heel and a wider instep and the Salomon shoe really fits well. In other trail runners I size up 1.5 sizes but with the Salomon I size up just 1 size. I like the quick lace system too. I was afraid when I bought my first pair that the thin lace would wear out but it has lasted longer that the shoe itself! I rated this pair of Salomon's as 3-star because this is supposed to be a 'weather proof' shoe. According to the sales person, Salomon doesn't use Gortex anymore, rather they use their proprietary "ClimaShield" - they need to go back to the drawing board on this one. I wore these shoes for a 6 mile snowshoe trek into a yurt and my socks were soaked by the end - I wore my old pair of Salomon's (w/Gortex) for the hike out and my feet were nice and dry. Oh well, I think they will be good for spring conditions, but don't stand up to winter training.

I love the Salomon Missions, all of them. They are the best trail shoe I've ever bought and pray that the company will never stop making them. My feet can take a pounding on 8-10 miles of trail and not complain at all. My foot stays in place while going down steep slopes and therefore my toes never get smooshed. Love the lacing system and fun colors. Only negative is that my feet do get hot with the waterproof/ClimaShield, but it's worth it when there is a possibility of rain or streams to cross during the trail run. Flexible for runs, but sturdy enough support for long backpack hikes. The regular Missions have great breathability and wisk water away from the shoe, but are better for Summer. Love the Mission!
