    Comments about Outdoor Research Face Mask:

    I wanted something to cover my face when I run and cycle in colder weather. I was really hoping this mask would be it. It felt great in the store, but once out on the trail, I found it didn't move with my face if I looked left or right and it gradually slipped down my face and nose with the motion of running.

    I ended up returning it.

    It was warm and breathable.

      I've used this for riding my motorcycle during the colder months and works really well at blocking the wind from my neck and lower face. The Nose piece channels your breath downward pretty well. The only downside is that it doesn't fit skin tight around the nose so some air comes out and fogs up my faceshild on those really cold days. The fleece type material in the nose also traps the humidity my breath which collects into water which then becomes cold around the mouth part. So I recommend using this in high wind or only brisk temperatures.
