Vibram FiveFingers Speed LR Shoes - Men'sis rated4.8333out of5by6.
Rated5out of5byKADfromVery satisfiedI have been wearing vibram's five fingers for a few years now and still love them! This is my third pair. What prompted to buy these is that I wanted a pair that looked as close as possible to regular shoes so I could wear them to places like meeting with clients. The black leather with shoe laces looks pretty much like regular shoes. You have to look twice to notice they are five fingers. As for fit, these are extremely comfortable! This is the only pair I wear with socks, but soft socks with soft leather vibrams are a super comfy combo.

Rated5out of5byLeaf7fromLove' emI am a five finger convert; I wear them everywhere (except dress up formal meetings or events.)I have 6 pair of five fingers. I prefer my Bikulas for running and athletic events; however, these are a great day to day shoe for wearing to the office or kicking around. I wish REI had more options in the leather uppers like these shoes.

Rated5out of5byDWAinUSAfromMy New Favorite FiveFingersI wear the Speed LR's every day. They fit like they're formed for my feet, and remind me of my favorite pair of leather gloves: the same satisfyingly snug feel, and the same "protected" feeling. The leather is soft, but thick enough that it doesn't feel fragile in any way. The leather of this shoe is not the brushed/sueded leather of other FiveFingers models I've worn. This leather is finished like a soft pair of loafers, with the same "polishable" surface. That "finish," along with the lace system (which is great), makes these shoes less noticeable to passersby than the multi-colored versions of some other models. Even the pair of brushed/sueded FiveFingers I still wear on occasion tends to draw more comment than the Speed LR's--at least once I darkened out the bright yellow "Vibram" stitching on the top surface of each big toe socket of the Speed LR's. I think the lace system distracts the eye from the individualized toe sockets, so casual observers tend to gaze right past the "unusual" toes feature. The bright yellow stitching of the "Vibram" name is the only negative (for me; other wearers might not object at all). That negative was easily remedied by using a black-dye cloth pen to make the lettering almost invisible, rendering it more like raised black lettering against the black of the leather. Love the shoes. Pricey? A bit, for initial purchase, but hey, amortized over three years or more, they're a bargain. And, like many leather products, they seem to get better with age. If you're into the FiveFingers style, I think the Speed LR's are among the best for frequent, fairly inconspicuous wearing.

Rated5out of5byboamedtfromvery nice shoeThese shoes very nicely made. They are very comfortable and have more cushioning in the sole than my other vibrams. its most noticable at the heel. it has a much softer heel whereas the bikiklas have more padding under the ball of your foot. The leather feels very nice, however it makes the toe pockets feel stiffer than the stretchier kso's. I have found this makes getting my foot in the toes pockets a little more difficult. With the injinji toe socks this problem goes away. These make for very nice casual shoes and the speed lace systems works great.
