I bought this as an update of a similar Columbia two-layer jacket I've worn for 10+ years. The new version was OK, but I returned it the next day due to problems with fit and trim details. I ordered a large tall. The length was fine, but the jacket felt a bit narrow around my torso. The deal breaker was the way the lower pockets are made: The "flap" over each zipper is a folded piece of material that's not sewn together, so light tension causes the flap to unfold and pull away from the pocket opening, defeating the purpose of having a protective flap. Also, I wasn't impressed with the design of the upper front pockets, which are nice to have but not easy to reach into. Finally, I thought the placement of the inner breast pockets was a bit off. But I would have kept the jacket if the lower pocket flaps weren't so flimsy and prone to "poofing" away from the openings.
