    This is a good pant. This product is waterproof and does a great job in keeping snow out. I haven't used these pants for anything other than hiking/snow play (lots of snow contact involved) so I cannot comment on their ability to work well in the "athletic" area(s) like snowboarding or skiing.

    I will say that they seem to fit a tad smaller tin the calf/ankle area. This is probably a good thing as they prevent any snow from contact. At the same time, they just look a tad more bunched on me.

    Also, I can't really rave on how warm they are. But honestly, when you're sitting in snow and it's 20F out, does anything actually ever feel warm, except for a nice down jacket? They are designed to keep your body heat trapped so it continues keeping you warm. I can't really tell the difference, honestly.

    Nonetheless, they are not pricey and if you're looking for a classic, basic snow pant, these are a good selection.
