The North Face Freedom Low-Rise Boot-Cut Insulated women's long-length snow pants allow enhanced motion on the move. They also stand up to winter temperatures with a waterproof, breathable laminate.

  • Quiet and abrasion-resistant HyVent™ 2-layer laminated nylon is completely waterproof, windproof and breathable; fully sealed seams prevent moisture seepage
  • Embossed taffeta lining with Heatseeker™ 60g polyfiber insulation keeps you warm without inhibiting mobility
  • Articulated knees aid in fit, allowing freedom of movement
  • Outer thigh vents and internal leg gaiters with stretch-mesh gussets work together to control airflow and regulate temperature
  • Warmth is regulated by allowing cool, dry air to flow in through mesh gussets while heated, moist air rises and exits upper thigh vents
  • Leg gaiters feature elastic grippers to seal out snow around boots and help regulate warmth
  • Pants features zippered handwarmer pockets and a single roomy cargo pocket
  • Rip-and-stick tabs at side of waist and zipper fly with snap closure secure the fit
  • Reinforced cuffs resist abrasion from boots, boards and skis

I first used these pants snowshoeing in 60 mph wind! They were amazing. The only part of my body that stayed warm the entire time were my legs! I would highly recommend these and would buy them again!

I bought these pants for my wife as we didn't have any snow pants. We live in the DC area and we're known to get anywhere from 1 inch of snow to a foot of snow on a few occasions. These pants are insulated and keep you warm! You could wear shorts, sweatpants or even jeans for added warmth. Overall, these pants will keep you warm and dry. I would have to say they are a tad-bit bulky but nothing outrageous.
