Comments about The North Face Get Down Insulated Jacket - Women's:

I loved the functionality bt the cut didn't work for me. I have a long torso. I tired it because I wanted a warm jacket for a motorcycle ride in the dead of winter in one of the coldest winters in CA's record history, but looking good is important too, and a belt just doesn't cut it, especially when with my long torso it sits up too high and makes me look bigger than I am. It's got great features, and will keep you warm and dry.

I ended up with a Kannon Insulated Jacket in Large, (I wear medium for most things but I like to have room to comfortably wear layers) and I had to find it somewhere else, because I love black and the only ones I could find to go with the great Kannon pant I got at REI for the same trip, were canary yellow or fusia. Not for me. My guy and I wear black. Both jackets are superb and Athlete's Picks on The North Face website.

Comments about The North Face Get Down Insulated Jacket - Women's:

This coat is great because I can wear it around the city and to work and it looks stylish, but it can also double as a good ski jacket. That, to me, justifies it's pricetag. The only issue I've had with it is that I was in between sizes and had to go larger, which means that it's just a little too bulky. I had to safety pin the belt to make it slightly tighter and that helped.

Comments about The North Face Get Down Insulated Jacket - Women's:

I love this coat. It's stylish and warm. I just wish it were a tad longer to cover my bottom just a little bit more. But it covers it enough that I feel warm and toasty on the bitter cold days. I wear it on cold days and get comments on it every time.
