  • Wear the shell jacket and liner jacket together for maximum protection or wear either piece alone as conditions warrant
  • Fully seam-taped polyester shell jacket uses HyVent™ 2-layer laminate for waterproof, breathable protection
  • Detachable hood is fully adjustable to ensure a weather-blocking, personalized fit
  • Body features a slick mesh and taffetta lining to wick away moisture and ease layering
  • Features zippered front handwarmer pockets for chilly hands, chest pocket and forearm pocket with goggles cloth
  • Interior zip security pocket holds cash, ID, phone and other accessories; internal goggles pouch safely stows goggles or sunglasses
  • Gripper powder skirt with shockcords keeps snow out; snow pants attachment loops keep skirt in place for a seamless fit

    Used it for snowboarding once. No snaps to attach to pants and since I am a new snowboarder, I fell down a lot, quite a bit of snow went up my back and down my pants.

      I travel a lot for work and currently am stationed in New England in the winter time. Its extremely cold out here and unpredictable weather. I wanted a jacket that had multiple purposes but was not going to take up a lot of space amongst my luggage. It does not really pack small unless you separate the pieces but that doesn't bother me. My only wish was that there were snap buttons instead of velcro. I have ruined many scarves out here with the velcro. It is very warm and comfortable. The inner liner runs a little short on my torso but nothing to complain about. I love the hot pink accents on it. All in all worth the purchase!!

      This jacket was to replace my 15 year old NorthFace Mountain Light jacket. This is so much more up to date and comfortable. The light inner layer is much warmer than I thought it would be. I would give it 5 stars except it needs better pit zips. Other than that, GREAT jacket!

          Great jacket. The pieces on there own are great. Together it is very warm, I was quite comfortable on the single digit, negative wind chill days. I can zip in items from other manufacturers with no problem. The fit is great, very comfortable without being bulky. It has kept me dry in both rain and snow. The hood actually stays on your head and creates a brim that keeps everything out.

            I got this coat for Christmas and absolutely love it. The pattern and texture of the outside coat is just beautiful. I got the purple color and it is such a great, vibrant color - very true to the website photo. It fits perfectly. The multiple layer options is perfect for me as I tend to get too warm. My dad said he thinks it is the best The North Face jacket he has ever seen.
