Rated4out of5byGeraldfromEverything is great except it's longI live in Hawaii and got this to go on a skiing trip in Utah. Everything is what I expected except the length is a little long then I would prefer because I am a short person.

Rated5out of5byceruleanBluefromSolid jacket for all the CO mountainsI mainly use this coat for snow boarding, however I bought it with the intention of using it during heavy snow/ice days and just walking around town. I love this coat, it fits great, looks great, and protects me well.
I was at Vail one day this year and it was snowing the whole time, the high for the day was 9 degrees, and it was very windy. not once did I feel cold, in fact I felt pretty invincible in this coat.
The best part was I got it on an amazing sale.

Rated5out of5byJason StaufferfromGreat JacketThis is a GREAT jacket. I wear it while riding my electric bike to work at 5:30am. The coldest morning here in phx was about 26 this winter, and it worked perfectly. I did have some layers under it but the jacket did most of the work. Very wind resistent...I ride about 30mph so I get a lot of wind chill and this jacket is awesome for stopping the wind!

Rated3out of5byes in CAfromGood jacket, but ...Bought this Cornice jacket and promptly returned it in a few days.
The jacket itself is fine with all the expected qualities of a North Face product, except -- not enough pockets to store items one typically carries these days. It only has the two hand warmer pockets. (I do not count the goggle cloth pocket on the sleeve.) I'd expected at least an inside pocket to carry my cell phone in. The product description says it has an "internal goggle pocket". That is not true. There is NO internal pocket at all. I chatted with a North Face customer service rep to ask about this. Her response was that the original prototype had an internal goggle pocket but it was removed from the production version.
Anyway, I returned the Cornice and got the Vortex instead.
