Bought these to handle the wet winter of the northwest. I like that these are a bit different looking, not as clunky as standard snow boots and way more sophisticated than wellies for rain. The laces are easily adjustable and the little cord at the top is a nice touch. They don't seem to be as grippy despite having decent tred, maybe they just need to be worn in a bit more. Overall nice boot and very comfortable. They run true to size (unlike my older sorels that run about a half size large).

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
