After a long research for some functional and yet stylish boots I bought these pair to go on a trip heavy on snow. The boots performed really well, I went for a hike with snow and ice and my feet were kept warm and dry for most of the time outdoors. The size does run a bit big and you don't really need thick socks.

I bought these boots to replace my 7+ year old leather Uggs. I loved how they looked and the fact that they were waterproof. They arrived quickly (thank you REI) but when I tried them on, they were a bit too big. I am what I would consider a true 9.5. My heal kept lifting up while trying them on around the house. I exchanged them for a 9 (easy exchange - thank you again REI) and they fit much better. Jeans (bootcut) and any other bulky pants fit nicely inside and ski pants cover over them without issue. I would suggest ordering down 1/2 size. Keep in mind that these are hefty boots weighing in at almost 4 lbs. You won't be disappointed!

Very happy with this purchase. I have been looking for good quality winter boots and these HIT the SPOT. They are comfortable, true to size (I am a size 9, 16" calf), warm and flexible. They are roomy, I can fit my flare/boot cut pants inside and still have room. When I drive with them I can actually feel the petals (unlike other bulky boots). They are stylish, I have already gotten tons of complements. Sorel has a solid backgroud, so you know you are getting a GREAT boot for your money!

Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was fast and on time. No pesky e-mails about back ordering, etc. The package was well packed and everything was in the box that I ordered. They delivered what they promised...I am happy!

I bought these boots last summer and am extremely pleased. They are comfortable, warm and look great in person. I did order a half size down and they fit perfectly (I can still wear thick socks with them).
My only complaint was that we had a mild winter and I didn't get to wear them as often as I had hoped!
