      I needed a pair of pants that are more outdoor-friendly than my yoga pants for a hiking and zip lining trip to West Virginia and these were perfect. I usually have difficulty finding good fit with hiking pants, especially TNF, but these fit perfectly. I am 5'3" and 118 lbs. and found the size 4 to be just right. It has an internal drawstring at the waist to adjust in case you need a more snug fit. The size 2 was also fine because the fabric gives, but the size 4 was more flattering and more importantly, more comfortable. Zippered pockets keep items secure. Also, there are those elastic draw strings at the hem so you can also adjust to keep the hem does from dragging if they happen to be a bit long. They can also be tightened around your ankle to keep dirt or critters from going up your legs. I'm so glad I found these! They are also generally useful for traveling because they dry quickly and would be comfortable to wear for long road trips or flights.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
