      A lot of stores carry kitchen knives with a sheath these days. I bought another from a high end store for a dollar more than this one and tested it at home to see how it would hold up. It got dull pretty fast. I have been testing this one for a few months now and it is as sharp as when I first bought it.

      I wanted a set of steak knives that I could throw in with my other utensils and not worry about someone cutting themselves on. I also wanted it to function well as a kitchen knife and I didn't want to have to deal with some special carrying case. This one is perfect for what I bought it for!
