Comments about Sierra Designs Zissou Lite DriDown Sleeping Bag:
SUPER 'LITE'. Wowie! I was surprised at how light this bag is! I bought this to replace a much heavier bag. I'm 5'11"/180 lbs and I got the long version; it is super roomy. In fact, I've never had a bag that is this roomy and light at the same time. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to pack light and still wants the room to move around inside of the bag.

Comments about Sierra Designs Zissou Lite DriDown Sleeping Bag:
I saw this in store, and really liked the feel of it. I had never had a down sleeping bag and was frustrated with my current bag, so I ordered it online.
Seriously, this thing is life changing. I slept in 10 degree (F) weather and was warm and cozy the whole time (I was using a therm-a-rest pad as well). My wife was sleeping in a 0 degree rated synthetic bag (also on therm-a-rest), and froze.
It's light weight, packs down, is excellently made, and is the best one of the best camping items I've ever bought.

Comments about Sierra Designs Zissou Lite DriDown Sleeping Bag:
I am 6', 185lb and bought a long. I'm not much of a squirmer which is good with this bag as I think it is sleekly cut. That's good for weight and packability though and I think Sierra has made a great bag that scores well across the board, especially at it's price. In the nine nights I have been in this bag I have been happy under a wide range of conditions. 30 in a camper: snug to a bit warm with shorts and a tee. Weekend in Ottowa Forest (Slyvania), MI: Fri a clear and windless 19 degree night I slept the night and stayed just at comfort level with my winter mid-wieght base layer and thick socks. The next 2 nights were mid 40's with .5 inches of rain/mist total. The bag didn't get clammy or loose any loft. I slept a tad warmer, taking one sock off mid-night. At 50 or so it is a great blanket. I wouldn't continually test the lower temp limits but dressed right it'll pull you through a cold one.
Very happy I bought it.

Comments about Sierra Designs Zissou Lite DriDown Sleeping Bag:
I bought this bag for a four-day backpack on Isle Royale. Night temperatures were in the 50s. My legs and feet stayed warm but my torso was a little chilly even with bag fully closed. I don't consider myself THAT sensitive to cold. The spring clip for the head drawstring is defective. Zipper snagged frequently when zipping up inside. The big virtues of this bag are that it's very light, compact, and water resistant--but overall I was not impressed. My Eddie Bauer light down bag of 30 years ago, which unfortunately was lost along the way, was a better product.

Comments about Sierra Designs Zissou Lite DriDown Sleeping Bag:
Great bag. Just tested it out camping around 5,000 ft. for the last few nights. Pretty impressed, being my first down bag I am stoked by the weight and pack size. I did get over heated for a bit, and having the zipper snag trying to escape the oven was more than stressful. Took a bit of practice, and it rarely gets caught now. Very simple design, no flaps or cords in my way, makes for easy barrel-rolling in the night. The stuff sack that comes with is a bit wide, I used a syncher and it's about the size of a basketball now.
Hope this helped, I am very pleased with it, and the lighter pack.

Comments about Sierra Designs Zissou Lite DriDown Sleeping Bag:
This was my first down sleeping bag, and at first I was skeptical of this product because of the lack of good customer reviews. But, I decided to take the chance and it payed out very well. I love this bag. It is rated for +30f, and I am not a cold sleeper, but this bag has gone into the 'teens without any fail. It is lightweight and packs down incredibly small. All in all, this is a great bag if you are looking for something dependable and lightweight, without sacrificing any of the warmth or size
