The North Face Sentinel trail-running shoes supply stability and protection, giving overpronators the comfort they need to go the distance conquering trails.
- This shoe is billed as the runner that works great on road, too, as you’re running to the trail
- Lightweight polyester mesh uppers are highly breathable and resist abrasion; thermoplastic urethane overlays provide support and protection
- Polyester linings wick moisture away from your feet and dry quickly
- Removable multidensity foam footbeds offer cushioning and stability underfoot
- Cushioning, dual-density EVA midsoles provide shock absorption and support; multilayer midsole provides moderate support and overpronation correction
- Thermoplastic urethane midfoot shanks provide side-to-side stability and protection against stone bruising
- Carbon rubber outsoles provide long-lasting traction for off-road pursuits

I really like North Face shoes. They are general cheaper than other name brands and very high quality. I bought these to replace a worn out pair of NF light hiking shoes. I found the Sentinel to be very comfortable but dangerously slippery on wet hard surfaces. I found this surprising since they are trail running shoes. After wearing them for the first time on a rainy day and nearly slipping multiple times on tiled enteryways, I returned them. I cannot imagine running on wet rocks or wood with these shoes.
