          Very nice fabric, comfortable, and they look good. Today was my first running these pants, so durability is still up in the air, but I expect the usual hardy performance from REI brand stuff. Fit is...odd, however. I'm 5'11, 235lbs, and these pants somehow manage to be a touch baggy around the waist and feel an inch short along the inseam. Maybe a variety of inseams would allow for better fit. It doesn't compromise performance, just feels a bit odd.

          The most annoying thing by far, though, is the "pocket" on the back panel. I bought these pants mostly because I wanted a back pocket for my iPhone on runs. This pocket is barely big enough for a gel packet or a house key - it might fit an iPod nano, but it's nowhere near big enough for an iPhone. Buyer beware on that point.
