I live in either running tights, yoga pants or jeans, so these pants were a nice change of pace. They look nicer than any of the above, but they are just as comfortable as yoga pants. I wish they had them in another color, as I would definitely get another pair.

I own several pairs of these pants. Note they are higher in the rise than many these days, which is great for women like me who have narrow hips and high waists because low rise pants don't stay up. There's enough spandex in these pants to keep them trim looking, but they do stretch a bit between washes. The knit fabric is heavy enough to be warmer than the average pair of jeans. I wear mine for yoga here in AK, to work at my casual office, and I also love to travel in them because they are so comfortable.
No description I've ever seen says they have side pockets of any kind, including zippered pockets, so I don't know where the other reviewer here got her info.

These pants advertise two zip front pockets, which is why I purchased them. There are no front pockets and no definitely no ZIP front pockets! One rear pocket zips underneath a snap cover (clever design). Debating if I should keep them.
