Warm and lightweight, the men's REI Powerflyte pants are designed for those who won't settle for staying in.

  • Active fit with 4-way stretch is great for cool-weather outdoor training, trail running, hiking and even power lounging
  • Very comfortable fabric features a moisture-wicking brushed inner face and a smooth, quick-drying outer face
  • Stretchy inserts of Polartec® Power Dry® fabric wick moisture, dry quickly and enhance comfort
  • Fabric protects skin from too much UV with a UPF factor of 50+
  • Elastic waistband with adjustable drawcord offers an extremely comfortable fit
  • 2 zippered pockets shelter hands, and a small drop-in pocket stores accessories

        Would be great if they would lose the zippers and gain elastic cuffs - I find zippered cuffs useless and elastic cuffs would adapt to different leg lengths - when barefoot my only solution is to roll these up

          I bought these pants for running in colder weather and they've been great. I've run in 30 degree weather and even in the rain and they've keep my legs comfortable and warm. I've washed them several times in cold water and hung them up to dry and haven't had any problems with them.

              These are GREAT pants---until you wear them twice. Then they pile like a 20-year old Christmas sweater. It is surprising that REI would release these without pile testing---this is standard in the industry and REI has set a standard for quality. Why did these miss product testing, guys?

                I agree with the too short review. Also, I can run in these comfortably down to around 20 degrees but if there is much of a breeze it is too cold. The wind comes right through this fabric and can make them too cold.
